Before i scratch a hole in my head.... Buy on not?

    Hi.

I`ve been searching for an engine for some time now and got so many bad experiances with sellers and companies. Some don`t know what rev the engine is, some don`t know what parts is with it etc.

So i found this and i have messaged the seller and she wants 1200? for it. No less! I do not know if this has the LSD or not but that`s the way it is.
    Is this worth it?

I have put together another option if someone bothers to check it out.

    Engine: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/JDM-3...QQcmdZViewItem
    Driveshafts: http://fensport.co.uk/partsfiles/sw20mech.htm
    CV joints: http://www.partsinabox.co.uk/cgi-bin...%23a9375#a9375
    Fuel pump: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyot...QQcmdZViewItem

Mr2T engine mounts. Well, who knows.

So what should i do here? I`m just so confused and can`t make a decision. Please, any help will be appreciated.

    (1) First option (engine on a pallet) looks ideal but ?1200 is a very high price for what it is. ?750 is the max I'd pay for that.

    (2) The US ebay engine looks pretty good, and his feedback is mostly very good.

    (3) Fensport driveshafts. Way, way too expensive! ?70 each? ?50 the pair more like! Also note it's much much better to get the shafts from the same gearbox to avoid problems. Or even just the end that fits into the gearbox then join any shaft you like to it.

Depends on how much of a hurry you're in. Bargains come up on ebay, but only if you wait for them to come along...

Good luck and keep us up to date on your search.

    All the best,

    Owen.

Ok, you have calmed me down a bit. I`ve actually tried to find a site to order directly from Japan (JDM) but nowhere to find.

Anyway, i`ll wait and search some more and do some more work on the engine bay with paint and and stuff. I thought since it`s more or less like a rear cut it`s not that bad. And i get shafts. 94 mod. Is it that high a price?

The thing is that 1200? is still A LOT cheaper than home.

This is so hard. So many options.... maby i`ll just buy the pallet and get over with it. It`s exactly what i need too. hmm. Hehe, i need pills!;)

I thought 94 was a rev 3 or am I mistaken and there were some rev 2's early on in 94.
