    mk2 fuse box

    just sniffing about before i buy any type of fuses, can anyone identify the five large current fuses marked up bottom of this cover.. what are they for? do we need them for turbo wiring?

    ......in the bluecorner , fighting out of japan....

    At a guess, id say the 2nd one's for the alternator 3rd ABS 4th heater/fan

    Adam, are you using the mk2 fuse box then? I didnt bother. From memory their was a nut to remove the 2 large power cables then remove a couple of plastic multi connectors and the box should split leaving you without all the fuses/relays.

    adam none of that crap is needed for your wiring,those fuses are protecting the main power feeds Am1 and Am2 going into the fusebox....throw that lot away,we dont need it sir.

    its alreet!, dont panic matey, im just checking before i put an end on the powerfeed cable from me battery and cut to length etc. ya its them 'am' ones that were bugging me. im not very good with electrics!.. why does the alternator one say 120A ? sounds like a thick question as generally am super thick with sparks :-) ! but that nearly the rating of my cable..
