A short while ago I finally got around to buying some new rocker cover bolts and washers, as for some reason my engine had allan key ones? Was suffering from leaky rocker cover gaskets and it was pretty hard to tighten these bolts up.
Anyhow, fitted new bolts and washers, and did 'em up nice and tight. As I was working on the engine cover today, though I would check 'em - and they had worked loose again?
Done them up tight again - but is this normal, or do they new bolts/washers have a bedding in period? I don't do many miles in it (got a pug 306 for the mundane duties ;) ) so suprised they are loose this quickly...? Its a real pain to get to the rear bank ones as well. :rant:
