I love wires!!

Heres my new gauges cunningly fitted where the clock used to be:thumbsup:

Air inlet temp, air/fuel ratio and of course a boost gauge. Looks fairly chunky in the pictures but in real life it looks pretty decent and was either mount them there or stick em on the roof!!

Ive also fitted a genuine Cusco rear strut brace designed for a Mk1 SC and redesigned for a Mk1.5 with a little nip out of the side of it with my grinder, just to clear the chargecooler top tank. Apparently these are quite rare, i felt kinda guilty chopping it!!

Gauges are real carbon fibre, to save weight apparently, cos normal gauges are REALLY heavy ;)

Want a new shroudy thingy to get rid of the hole where your digi-boost gauge used to be Murf? Got one sitting waiting to go in the bin here.

Good stuff but I reckon your CC is going to be smacking into that brace a fair bit as the motor moves with the torque?

Fair point Jon.

Nope, i put blu-tak between the cc and the brace before taking it for a drive, and i ground it down till there was plenty clearance!
Blu-tak gets squashed, no clearance
Blu-tak keeps its shape, plenty clearance
did the blu tak test afterwards and its all good :)

Millen, cheers bud, keep it for me and i'll collect it soon :)

Update - is in a car just now...but if you bring your old one with you can swap it over no problem - 2 screws and it's out.
