What exhaust systems are people using, or parts have they used.

I m running a standard backbox at the mo and thinking of changing it but wondering if a single smaller backbox will be too noisy.

Nur Spec and Apexi N1 havn't heard the N1 yet though. The Nur spec is awesome though.

Yup, too close to the floor, too noisy, pipe too restrictive, exits at wrong angle... I'm going to get something better put together when budget allows

I've already caught it twice over speed bumps

Mk2 Turbo backbox, 3" downpipe and heavy duty truck flexi exhaust piping from the downpipe to the turbo box.

The standard turbo backbox fits the mk1 quite nicely, only needing a slight bending of the outer hangers, and the inlet to the backbox angling up slightly

Surely the standard mk2 tubby system is a touch restrictive? I agree about the fitting though, seems the simplest/cheapest option

No particulary - it's mostly the downpipe that's the restriction with the standard exhaust system... once you fix that then really the backbox is only noise.

See that's what i'm hoping for with the elise backbox.

Time will tell.
