I was thinking similar things, Ford xpack style:

The best bit is you get to mercilessly tub the back and lose all the rot! :woc:

That was a joy to look through, just don't see the point in putting all that work into the suspension and engine not to drive it properly but just put it behind some barriers.

aweinspiring work - the new work was much superior to the orignal. did you see the mount and what about the clocks - re plated etc - truly awesome

You should head out to the car museum at L'oheac in France.

Pretty near full group B collection, F1 cars, ferrari's and the like. Oh and they have a private circuit next door where they regularly thrash them!

This pic is spot on. Not really sure how it looks yet. Gets a lot of cooling, thats for sure. Not that hard to get the width you want either. Smart move:)

looking at the pictures made me miss my old wide arched MR2 a lot and got me wondering.

I still have the moulds to have the panels made but can't afford to have it done n a one off basis so wondered if anyone would be interested in a group buy to keep costs down 9economy of scale etc.)? I'd need to find a good composite guy (the chap who did mine has moved houses and I can't find him as yet) and then share the costs between how ever many people wanted panels - I wouldn't want any cut, just to reduce the actual cost of panels to me.

The panels were one piece and replaced the entire rear wing from b pillar back => much lighter and no rust and had room for 10" wide rears + some to spare. Fibreglass was fine for me - light and strong enough, when well made - but I'm open to suggestions as to alternatives such as kevlar or cf ?

(Tried to attach a GIF file but it keeps failing so if anyone wants photos i can e-mail them . .)

I saw the car featured in the root post at Goodwood - sitting out in the rain!

Was beautiful. My old man couldn't work out why I was so interested in it until I showed him the link when we got home again.

That 240Z build video diary is awesome! Watched them all!

I love the Swedes. Got a mate who's going to live there early next year - going to have to organise a road trip up to see her (hot + blonde with ample boobage...she'll fit right in!).

Loved the music on the video's too - Jimmy Eat World, The Used, 633 Squadron Music and Me First and the Gimme Gimme's - AWESOME!
