rev 3 speedoooooo

Not sure if this has been asked before but what is the plan with the speedo for my rev 3. The box has a digital output me thinks and the car is firmly in the 80's with a cable affair?
How can I connect does the gubins inside the box transfer over or is a it a case of "sorry officer the speedo seem to have given up the gost":liar: :whistle:

You need a mechanical speedo drive from a rev one gearbox and then all will be well with the world. Not sure if the law has changed a speedo didn't use to be compulsory. As long as you don't break the speed limit then how you judge your speed is your own affair!

Owen's correct - Speedo isn't compulsory. I used the bendy tube from an ST165 and modded it to fit the electric drive; there's a sticky in the drivetrain section I'm sure.

Ask floss if he's got the speedo drive he's selling a rev1 box - maybe do a swap
