View Full Version : brake line question - do ST185 calipers use the same connection as the std mk1b's?

as the title says really, if you are fitting ST185 single pot calipers does the standard mk1b brake line fit? (e.g. are the connections on the calipers the same size)

im hoping so, and guessing by the fact most people say its a completely plug and play brake solution that they are. means i dont have to source new hoses in a non-std fitment, and wil make it easier when i can afford to stick some goodridge braided lines on later if i can just get std mk1 items

Yep, it fits fine with the original rubber hoses (if you're still using them!).

Does this apply for the twin pots as well?

yes it does, they are banjo type,although you may have to remove the bent locating pin:thumbsup:
