View Full Version : 16" Wheels
Why is it that no-one seems to go for 16" wheels.
Most people stick with the 15" or hop up to 17" but i ain't seen many with 16" wheels.
Why is that?
I think they're the perfect balance between size and functionality, and the tyres aint that expensive either.
Or am i missing sumthing completely?

im on 16's.............and stickin to them for my new rims
I'd prefer 16's but am happy to go 17" to fit the ST205 breaks. There are 16's out there that will fit but not many.

for the beams project. i chose 16 for it due to size availablity of the toyo r888 tyres and rolling diameter/width. i have a set of keri's brakes and to make sure of clearance i went up a size ;)

I'm on 16's as well, two pairs of Mk3 MR2 rears! (the old 15" white Enkei's in my avatar are long gone...)
I agree about them being a nice size, 17's often look daft but 15's are not really visually "big" nowadays.
I also like the room for brakes .V. handling trade-off 16's offer... :jump:
and me (16's).
