Hi all

Someone put up a post a while back where they had measured the relevant distances from hub face to spring etc to see whether particular size/offset wheels would clear the springs and brakes. I am weighing up whether to go with some ST205 wheels sat in my garage redrilled for 4x100 (from 5x100).

I can't remember which words to search for!

Oh and Paul, you say in the big brakes article that the ST205 disc is 55 mm centre hole, but I'm pretty sure it's 54.1 mm (at least the wheel is). I might have a play around this evening.

i'm sure they'l fit with , i'm sure there bigger than 54.1 too, ive machined a few pairs, i could have sworn they were 55mil on the brake discs, otherwise theres no way i would bore them out and sleeve them.. :-k maybe the wheels are a tighter size?!.. ive never actuially measured a st205 gt4 hub, but have the disc bores..

yeah the st205 are 55mm centre hole diameter,i had to have mine taken out by 3mm and a 4mm spigot ring inserting....it would be nice if they were 54.1 like a mk1 disc is.
