Another piece of the jigsaw to mentally lay out before i get stuck in.

Can i use the Camry pump (think Jiff said he does this)?

Or will it have to be a Mk2 Turbo or aftermarket job?

What do they cost if i do have to buy one?

Cheers,
Olie

You can get a 255ltr/hr for about £75 or something rediculously cheap.

Yeah but i got an even cheaper Camry one. In the Camry.

Any idea what the output of the Camry one is?

*Edit- Sorry, that sounded short, you've just answered part of my question, cheers mate.

oh my bad, there was an uprated pump in the for sale section.

I'd have thought the camry pump would be adequate.

Aye, it's just a case of will and how it will fit.

Not planning on charging it so the camry pump do fine?

If it fits you'll have no problem as its stock pump on stock engine. Thats only if it fits tho.

I'm sure someone will be along soo that will know for certian

i dont think anyone has used the camry pump have they? most mk1 guys have dropped the tank and fitted a turbo one .... except me and i have a inline walboro that fits under the fuel filter ;) saves all the hassle of dropping the tank etc!

I was gonna suggest an inline one, but seeing as budget seems to be the key word here thought I'd leave it out.

That said though, inline pumps aren't going to be that much different in price to an intake one are they? possibly cheaper I'd have thought as they're generic and not car specific.

the camry pump is a lot smaller in physical size but it could be made to fit the mk1 pump carrier bracket without too much trouble....it will be fine for a stock v6 but for those with SC or turbo intentions its really got to be at least a mk2 turbo pump.

Ive got a camry v6 pump here im determined to fit to a mk1 sooner or later,it'll defo work.
