Hi all, Just received a Schroth 6 point harness from a Porsche today, bargain! I'm having a problem on trying to fit the rear shoulder straps to the bulkhead.

At the end of the shoulder strap there is nothing, the strap just ends. Do I need to attach something onto this or is there another way to fasten it to the bulkhead? the waist and crotch straps all have metal attachments to bolt straight in.

Any help appreciated, I can post a pic of the strap if this makes no sense.

cheers,

Michael.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, didn't know where to put it.

Yup sounds like you'll need another pair of those metal attachments. Some harnesses are just wrapped around a roll cage tube so don't have them included. You'll also want a spreader plate with captive nut welded behind the fire wall in the engine bay to attach it to. I'm in a similar situation with some we have for Lyn's car so if you find a supplier of just the attachments then please give me a shout.

Cheers,

Owen.

Nice find Jasper, bookmarked!

cheers,

Michael.

ps. I ended up just buying a tow rope with snap hooks, I'll remove them and get an upholsterer to stitch them on to the shoulder straps.
