As some of you may know I've decided to go the ITB route with my V6 and at the moment I'm trying to decide how to put the inlet manifold together. I'm intending to have runners from the head, crossing and then going to the ITBs (Triumph triples) to maximise the runner length.

The quandry is as far as I see it is to do things one of two ways:

1) Chop the original manifold 2-3 inches from the head, bore it out and slot/TiG ali runners in allowing me to use the stock injector positioning and freeing up the holes in the ITBs for a MAP sensor system

2) A fully fabricated S/S manifold using the ITB injector positioning and figuring out a different way of measuring the MAP.

What do you think is the best way to go and is there another way I've missed.

Your thoughs as always are appreciated.
