Drove my car for the first time today- very pleased until a loud noise resulted in this-

Thats all that was left of my nearside inboard c.v joint:freak3:

new shaft arrives on tuesday.

Ouch, that's not a good thing!

I admire the dedication to clean all the bits up after the failure, or was that how much grease there actually was in the joint? :hidesbehi

At least it's a black and white fault to diagnose; new joint and you're good to go!

Unlucky mate, Tuesdays not far away tho and at least yourr car is running after a swap when mine feels soooo far away

those joints are supposed to be good for 500bhp,so how much power is Ki actually putting out? lol

All fixed now, drove around the perry track today with no problems other than squidgy brakes and the low fuel light coming on- v happy indeed, just a bit of cosmetics to finish now:jump:

Great news mate on getting it fixed... looks like a really severe case of ballache there ;)
