View Full Version : Error code 47
I'm getting this from the rev3 ecu in my newly connected rev3 ecu setup but i cant find 47 on the list of ecu error codes, what is it?
Could it be connected to the fact that i'm also getting code 21 because i only have a single wire lambda sensor and the ecu system thinks that the heater is broken in the lambda?
do you have an engine bay temperature sensor..?
seem to remember something about temp sensors and code 47...
Quotes from IMOC. Hope it helps. Good call Nik:)
Sounds like you've just done a rev 3 conversion, or its had a rev 3 conversion ??? [Very Happy]
Ignore the code 47 error code, doesn't throw the car in spaz mode.. but suggest getting a temp probe - use your engine lid temp sender if your stuck ( same resistance ! )
No worries fellar... its just a code thats thrown on every rev 3 conversion I've done ... !! Perhaps the rev 3 is running the OBD II diagnostics on it... codes 4 and 7 - as the OBD uses single error codes.
Hi there,
I had this error code after un plugging the engine compartment temp sensor so that the ic fan runns all the time.
After plugging in again and ecu reset the error code was gone!!
So i can only think that error 47 is related to engine temp sensor .
YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!
That means it works properly!!!!!!!
Cheers guys!!!!!
Off for a drive now, then i'll get some pics tomorrow and finish my convertion thread :)

Sounds like a result  Nice job.
Lets hope you have a nice ride and your camera doesn`t boom:) Lets hear all about it tomorrow:) Drive carefully though!;)
Just back, its great!
Still running 10psi because of the weather so theres no difference in power but its soooo much smoother!
No more jerking when you let off the throttle for a gearchange or back off for a corner!
I'll get some pics up in the other thread tomorrow :)
