Porsche wheels anyone?

has anyone ever used Porsche wheels on an AW11?

(using 4x100 to 5x130 pcd adapters from H&R or similar)

4x100 wheels in varying offsets and sizes are widely available.

I already have a set of 5x130 wheels that I would like to use.

I originally bought them in a mad-moment for my 180SX, but I've kept them as I'd like to see them on either an AW11 or E30 (325i pref.) BMW, as there are spacer conversion for both.

These wheels are wiiide, so I'm prepared for spacers shoving them out, arch extensions, etc. Just wondered if anyone had done the conversion before?

Also, what the widest 15s people have fitted to an AW11?

Do porsche wheels fetch good money? If so I'd be tempted to say flog them and get something the right offset/PCD from begining.

I have been thinking about Fuchs ( wrong spelling i think) Porsche wheels. I think they would look great on an mk1. it`s almost like a porsche the mk1, only faster;)
