This bracket thingy???!!

Dead simple plea for help this, had a look at this bracket which i now know i dont need.

How have people gone about removing it as it seems fairly attached to the gearbox cables and a few other metal pipes???
Didn't want to chop anything without consulting you lot first??

to remove gearbox cables pull out the little u clip things with bent edges on them with pliers.. the shifter cables then just lift out .

I always find a screwdriver and a hammer works a treat if they're being a bit stubborn.

yeah small tap should see them drift out nicely !
