Nice simple one for you all this time...

On the bottom of the XS Power downpipe, there are 2 extra sensor fittings. One is already bunged as supplied by XS, but there is a smaller one that is not.

Can anyone confirm for me what this thread size is so I can bung it up. Looks about 14mm by my very technical "hold a spanner over hole" method

Thanks.

Can I suggest that you bung it up with the sensor from the original downpipe.

What sensor? The o2 sensor will be going in the top fitting.

Or do you mean the cat temp sensor?

If so.. mine is a little worse for wear...:freak3:

I guess I could try and get it out just as a bung.

Think its the EGT (exhaust gas temp) sensor. Mine was a pig to get out, had to resort to heating up the boss with gas to get it shifted. Also the boss on the xs power pipe does not have any location at its base (tapped hole straight through) which meant that the sensor was free to slide about in its boss, soon sorted that out with a bit of loctite though.

Its Cat temp sensor. These don't ahve EGT... man I wish they did though! I've done some alterations too... see my other new post on Downpipe modifications :D
