Err... what number do I call to actually get Toyota parts...

just call local dealers and ask for parts department wait about 45 mins they will answer phone and will require a 3 million digit code off you that is printed on a plate somewhere in the car that is then taken off and stored on the moon so you dont have a chance in hell of getting any info out of these muppets !

Unless of course your calling any toyota dealer thats not in cardiff in which case they will probably be much more helpful !

or for a laugh e-mail your local dealer, i sent one last night for some prices, and had a reply waiting for me when i got home, which realy supprised me

Hmm - in that case, does anyone have the part number for the long shaft oil seal on the 3s-gte rev 1 gearbox - or know how I can get it?

Go into toyota, speak to them nicely, then bend over with and get the vaseline out :whistle:

best idea ash, is to take that seal in, and give it to them, as there are a few different sizes and they are bound to diagnose you the wrong one over the phone, as they did with me. although im afraid i dont have the number or reciept anymore, limited speed on phone connection here otherwise could prrolly find the post... JB i think had the numbers on a post to do with driveshaft seals or gearboxes or something..

For those interested - my local dealer (Bedford) says they're ?10.43+VAT
