Hey all, how's things?
Was looking at the megasquirt info the other day, and was wondering if anyone'd thought of using it as an additional injector controller for running increased boost? I was thinking I could wire it alongside a 4agze ECU and just use it to run an additional injector or two for when the stock ECU and injectors start to run out of steam (could do the same with a 3s-gte powered car too). It'd save having to map the ignition. Unless the megasquirt has a greater number of map / rpm points mapped to it (144 total) than the stock ECU (not sure of the number), in which case it might as well run the whole show with a set of bigger injectors and more tuning time. :hmm:
Anyone suggest which may be the better option? Only looking to map up to around 14-16psi for now (which I imagine is around where the stock ECU runs out of map), but would be handy to plan some headroom to play with in the future.
