steve very nice indeed but how come you have such a big ariel sticking out of the roof in pic 3 and whats the yeelow thing on it for, bet you can radio from all over the world on that one !

?, why do you people in the UK, etc. call this type of paint Sherwood Toning? Is that the official color name from Toyota?

I believe so.
Obviously there were various different two tone cars. I think the blue over white/silver is the rarest. Only 1 in the UK that I know of.

Thanks, I've seen that blue over silver. I have a few pictures somewhere and it was a MR2 from Japan.

White over silver and white over a bronzish color also. There are probably more colors but I can't think of any right now.

Get this I have just found a sherwood toning TBAR supercharger for sale in Japan ! How cool is that and how rare must that be and its only got 50k miles on the clock and is for sale at ?1000 ! god i live in the wrong country !

That is rare.
I was informed by NZ's AW11 club that the sherwood toning is the 2nd most popular colour over there. :shock:

the rarest colour i believe is the dark green early mk1's that exist....ive seen every mk1 colour combo at the garage except one of these dark green cars.

yes even the blue over white but i couldnt confirm if it was original or had been done by someone....if its done right its very hard to tell.

im not sure on the two tone variants.....but a two tone brown would look like a turd sandwich :D
