ive gone for garys placement, bit of this and that, shes home. now to find cables.. what size am i looking at csa?.. or what ampage?. 120 i think? 4m or 5? i could measure it but squillions of you lot have allready done so so i'll be a lazy sod and ask  .. also where have you terminated the cables in the engine bay?

plenty of room for spare 578 RR wheel, or whatever else, i think spare fluids will go here.

welded in, no close ups of my welding this time :snooty: ! i zinc primered welds, then used seam sealer. am going to coat the battery tray in something thick, and paint all bay once bloody great hole in floor sorted.

i bought some jump leads from halfords and cut the ends off and used it for the battery cable. Only cost ?12 as well so cheap as chips! worked out much cheaper than buying the cable seperately and its well thick enough. if you do it this way, have a look at the cable first to see what guage it is

good stuff, that really is the perfect spot for the battery, makes me wish Gary had done that before I mounted mine so I could've copied! The cable I used was 50mm^2, but it is slight overkill :) But then isn't that the TB way? A lot of folks go for welding cable, tends to be cheaper than the heavy stuff that automotive/electronics stores sell (usually OFC for car audio)

i was wondeing if the jump leads from halfords were ofc at that price!? the ones i bought obviously dont state the grade of copper.. i cannot remember the length of them either, have to check and chat to the electrical buff at work, out of interest
