do we need this? i turned my key today and the fuel pump did not run, you should be able to hear it right?
im sure i hadthe relay connected before though i cannot find the connector for it. ive searched everywhere, im sure it was on the main loom????

Yes you should be able to hear the pump. but use the mk1 relay if i remember correctly will check, mk2 relay has two settings for pump mk1 has one

just checked i used mk1 relay in the fuse box then it goes to pin18 on N1 plug and then to your ecu, hope this helps.

sorry mate been a while since i wired up mine, got it wrong, it s wired direct to COR, and everything else off the COR works, if the pumps not working its got to be fuel pump connections

anyone else think of anything else?

just to add,a mk1 doesnt have a fuel pump relay as such,it uses the COR as a feed...we dont need to wire up the mk2 fuel pump relay either,it looks like its an immobiliser problem on marts car.
