Bit of a clear around today... and got the Escort out to give it a clean and a bit of a run - just to make sure its still ok.

So thought it was time for a bit of a family photograph!

Brother and sister? (step children, of course... don't know if either of them are even slightly girly in their present forms though!)

Thanks for the comments about my kids. Being my babies, I get quite protective of them at times

Shame I never got any camcorder footage of the last event with the Escort... it sounds fabulous at full chat.

I've only ever owned one Jap car before and that was only for a short time - a Mk1 Honda Prelude.

I'm more a large saloon type of guy having had a Senator, XJ Jag, BMW635CSi, Rover 800, etc etc.

At the same time I like my British sportscars too. Just sold an Elise and got a TVR Griffith, but never got round to taking a photo of them together.

Paul, That pic resembles my driveway. The new owner of my 86 should be by in the morn. Hope he enjoys it as much as I did.

thats a shame it sleft the country, just got my SC road legal again today as the GT4 was drinking fuel quicker than BP could make it ! Its soo much fun and although not the brutal and stupid power of the celica its still very nippy ! I am gonna try and get over and see the pdge mobile later this week as he is only down the road and rekon it will inspire me to finalise my plans ! Have just been to see the block at v-spec performance that is on ebay as I could use that as a forged rebuild for the celica for crazy power (feel safer with huge power and 4wd rather than 2) and then drop the celica engine out and that could go in a MK1 chassis as that would be lots of fun tis for sure !

Oh so many plans and so little time !
