i think david needs to comment on this as to what hes used,if its wrong information it will need removing asap...maybe the bmw ones are handed? so if you got the other side it would have the right thread on it? thats all i can think of.

BMW mini anti rolls I thought were the mk1 rear anti roll links that are useable?

Exactly - thats where the confusion might of arose.

i bought both sides and they are the same straight threaded- where as the mr2 ones have an angled thread. perhaps the bmw has rears as these are fronts?

Sorry if its misleading info. Just gave the guy my rear track rod ends and he came out with a set that he said were front pre 89 BMW 5 series after he had a bit of a rake.

The set he gave me fit fine.

Take the old set in and get him to match them up with some of the left handed threaded track rod ends on the shelf.

The guy in my local factors has probably made a mistake but they must be off something.

No joy today on the make of the rod end but the guy who got me it was off.

Will go back in tommorow.

Its def not the 5 series BMW so I will update the other thread until I know which one it really is. The owner of the factors thinks its maybe a Merc rod end as they have a left hand thread.

Right got the info

The information given is correct although not complete.

On the BMW there is an inner and out track rod end. The outers are right hand thread and the inners are left hand thread.

The left hand ones are the one you are after.

Alan - Got a set from the factors for you so PM your address and I will send you them down. Just call it my contribution to the marquee.

The other thread has been updated
