I've been having problems with the speedo since changing over the gearbox... it seems that most of the time the speedo works, but on occasion it will go loopy - flicking about wildly at fast speeds (60-70mph+) and if you happen to put your foot down at that kind of speed it can often go backwards!!!

Odometer also seems to be vastly under-reading... apparently it's 30-odd mile to Newcastle and back... I must have a warp capable car as it's 54 miles in the Supra :afro:

Any ideas?

Get a GPS based speedo.

Saying that my snooper didn't connect properly yesterday and apparently as soon as I pulled away I was doing 145mph.

... as I pulled away I was doing 145mph.

Hehe rotflmao That may very well be the case once you've got the V8 lump installed.

True, however the question is wil it be doing that while the front wheels are hovering about 2 foot above the ground :-)
