Mk1.5 engine mounts

Hi there I'm trying to find the template showing where the hole for the mount attaches through, also is there anyone that could make the side plates for me? I'd pay of course

I should be able to pick up some 4mm plate tomorrow. I can get the 4 mounts cut out and the holes drilled, they will just need a bit of final grinding to fit the chassis rails, as I don't want them to end up too small. That's as far as I have got with mine, I know they need a couple of rectangular plates as strengthener a, plus the crossmember reinforcement and torque mount plates, but I haven't got that far on mine, so I'm not in a position to make see for you just yet. I'm away this weekend, but I'll try my best to get some templates made up.

i wouldnt be welding any mounts in place until I had the jig to make sure the hole centres are correct, you don't want the engine mounting holes even a few mm off

I have the jig :) just had a mission getting the mounts made, but Pete has sorted me out. His text this morning made me happy

awesome, i made the mistake of waxoiling inside the chassis legs a few weeks prior to welding the mounts in............Don't do this!
