Had some problems with this a few weeks ago with a lumpy engine and really poor fuel consumption. Anyway a quick clean and everything was fine until now when I realise that it's started to drink the juice again and hesitates a lot. I tried cleaning it but this time it hasn't worked.

The part number I have for the MAF is 197400-2000 and someone gave me a MK3 MAF when I was having problems before with a part number of 197400-2030, looks identical otherwise. I'm thinking of trying it out but not sure whether it'll do any damage or not if it's wrong. I've had a look at a couple of car parts websites to compare part numbers between the RX300 and MK3 and one has them the same but the other different.

I'm supposed to driving to Wales for the weekend tomorrow afternoon, could be costly on about 12mpg.

They are identical Mafs.

Thanks Paul, good to know. I'll try it tomorrow, also means that I know I can pickup MK3 maf's easily and use those in the future.
