Go to drop them over the gearbox place to check them out and see if any good driveshaft look ok

I think that one in the pic is a tubby.

I've just fitted a rev1 and it looks nothing like that.

the mechanical speedo drive gives it away as a rev1 if it isnt going in a rev1 the speedo drive is worth selling or giving away to us mk1 boys.

ive got a mk2 rev one just for the speedo drive to go in the rev 3 box apparently the rev 1 has slightly faster gearing but weaker synchros and thinner shafts, if it was going in the 2gr i would use a rev3 just being belt and braces approach, doesnt mean you cant use the rev1 if you want to after all it was free.

Tiggs beat me to it - defo a rev1 bx with the speedo drive... They'll be plenty strong enough for a 2gr considering the linear power delivery of the thing. Freebies are always good :)
