3vzfe not flat deck (HUGE PROBLEM)

Shop told me deck is not completely flat, and they want to do 1 of 2 things. (Deck has small non-sandable knack near cyl 4 and cyl 6 size of knack/knick is half your pinky nail.)

Deck block
Replace bearings
Done

Go to different gasket which will fill these gaps (non-metal one). Take chance that it may blow another gasket in 1 month+ or never.

Notes:
Just had heads completely rebuilt, and metal head gasket applied. New everything in the head.

Yeah thats what I though It's just the swap was poorly planned by the shop and they know it so they are trying to get it done at this point yo. Shit, it's been 2 months+ of it will be done this week.. oh no this week. Oh no this week.

I'll deck the block and get new bearings. You think $500 is to much for labor or the tear down, deck, and parts?
