Hello

Once again I may be worrying over nothing, but the bottom linkage cable is sat tight up against the manifold bolt.

1809

Tried shifting it about but then the clip won't go in.

Have I missed something!?!

Thanks

Chris

Nah ... about par for the course. Put the clip in then just move it up so it sits on the heatshield :)

Mr woods you are awful but I like your style, do you do the sucking in through clenched teeth and Tuting then saying it's fucked, that's a classic trained mechanic for you, have a gold star for today any way A+++ for effort.

Quickly followed by ....

"well ...... if it was an 'orse we'd shoot it..."

or

"i dunno what's broken but it looks expensive"

Get a jubilee clip on the 2 cables and see if it pulls it away from the downpoop/fannymould at all, saves any melted cables.

Good tip.

Will give that a try.

Chris.

They don't melt on the Mk2 V6's, well at least i've never seen one, it'll be fine as it is.

Thanks Paul!

I will probably have a few more stupid questions before we are done....

Chris.

There's no stupid questions, only stupid answers to sensible ones.
