anyone have an idea or an educated guess. I know they are reasonably rare just wondering how rare. Cheers

I've sold 28 sets of engine mounts for the 2GR so far. so i'm guessing less than a hundred is a slightly low estimate. but it's quite likely under 500.

Is that to the uk or worldwide gouky mate as I think in the uk maybe a 100 various mr2 mk1/mk2/mk3s have been converted to v6 power, would be interesting to find out how many are 3vz, 1mz, 2gr powered.

One thing we do know is at the moment there's only going to be two mk1a 2gr v6 in the uk, I was thinking of calling them chalk and cheese or thunder and lightning or the gruesome two some has a ring to it.

I think 5 to the UK, many to Australia, a few to Canada and a few more smattered around Europe. None to Japan yet.

Still, less than a couple hundred is a nice low number. Rare!

Wonder how many 1MZ MKI's there are.

motor swaps in any car are generaly rare, and services like Paul offers at the cheap rates he offers them at are even rarer.

i'd like to bring V8's into the hundreeds if possible eventually!

I think the V6 Celica is quite a bit rarer than the V6 MR2. Probably 50-100 in the world as I highball guess.

got to say steve the celica with a v6 in is a great swap , theres a bit of work mine you but well worth it.

im using my celica as a daily driver at the moment , and its a million miles away from what it was with the 3sge lump . i thought it wouldnt have been swapped as much tho - still very rare to find one thats been done right as well - there will be plenty of sheds driving round

Which country would that be then?
After reading the wiki guide this is what i found.
The isle of man hmmm a British crown dependancy even though your not part of the uk, we let you have your own goverment but in the end don't pee us of lol, as your allegiance is to the queen.

I have two, I've done about 10 various 1mz / 3vz into MRS and SW20 while at Rogue. I think xUZ and 2JZ conversions are the next big thing with 4WD (I hope to have the only V12 :) )

You should try to put a W12 from an Audi S8 into an mr2.

I doubt you can buy a W12 engine for £500 like you can an entire BMW 750i ;)
