Hi there, lovely looking Two. I am quite taken with the cosmos blue.
I would anticipate a few minor wiring differences, as Toyota seem to change everything just a little between revisions. Mr Woods is the wiring guru of course, start following his wiring guide and if you run into any problems...then just ask, I'm sure some one will be able to help.

+1 - there will be a few minor differences but nothing major to trip you up. PW is a diamond at responding to evening wiring pm's :)

Im using the standard n/a box for now, im guna get the engine in up and running then start thinking about sorting the box 5th gear, lsd supported shaft ect..

i can truly say that - the n/a box with 5th gear mod works extremly well ,i use my swapped celica on a roads and motorway and the 5th is top draw , a must for n/a boxes

No need to worry about the supported shaft with the N/A box - but 5th is a must! mine has just come back out for this mod! (cough .. and a supercharger ... cough)

I finaly found some time to strip the 3vz, I did not have high hopes for this motor 150k with a head gasket fault but cheep and fairly local.
So striped all the ancilaries off and pulled the heads off..http://i819.photobucket.com/albums/zz117/rx8meister/IMG00117-20100601-1318.jpg
It looks like its been standing with water in number 4 while.. http://i819.photobucket.com/albums/zz117/rx8meister/IMG00118-20100601-1319.jpg
All the other bores very polished totaly smooth in places with no honing marks also its quite heavly corroded or worn away on the top face of the block up to 1mm in places. Its not the end of the world the heads valve gear ect are good its going to take a little longer and cost more:(

Hi guys i have been realy busy so have not been able to up date but its almost finished! The engine is in running ive driven it around 50 miles or so and it goes well its sooo smooth much beter than 3sge its nice and torqey were it needs to be so its easier to drive slow and easier to drive fast. And the sound is almost perfect that alone was worth doing. and althotether only cost around £600 well worth it.
