speed signal pulses

Does anyone on here happen to know how many pulses per wheel revolution the rev 1 tubby Gbox sender makes ? (sorry cant remember the Gbox code !)

I think it's 4 - but IIRC the pulses aren't originated by the gearbox as the speedo drive is mechanical on the Rev 1, they are generated by reed switches on the back of the speedo

the rev 2 sender has 4 pulses per turn of the speedo drive . Not sure what that would be each turn of the wheel though .

Sorry yeh my bad, i mean't the rev 2 sender !
Its just i was thinkin of puttin a set of Astra GTE digi clocks in my car and i think they're 8 or 16 pulses so would read slow e.g 30 mph reading as 15 mph etc ? Saves pissin about with my knackered mech drive by using a sender instead.
