Ae101 swap??

Has anyone on here put in a ae101 supercharger engine in yet?

Or know how difficult the wiring/plumbing would be??

I know that by many standards it would seem a tame conversion
but with some tweaking it could be pushing 190bhp and thats fine with me!

Would like to do the work myself but am unsure of building a custom loom and dont really know what additional fettleing would be needed...

All advice welcome!!!

I've done a 4a-gze into mk1 conversion, but it was using the Mk1 SC engine as a donor not the corolla unit.... id imagine you only have wiring differences to worry about though.

I did one a couple of years ago - no major issues as long as you have the full engine loom from the AE101. If you decide to go ahead I can point you in the direction of the info you need, and can advise if required

i seem to be getting a bit more greedy!!

I done a 7age conversion a few years ago in a AE102 no major issues everything fitted not welding just a custom exhaust and down pipes. Would have been better if I had of used the 4age gearbox instead of the the 7afe one but its just what I had at the time.

I think if I was going to start out doing that conversion again I would put 5k aside and do a 3sgte else buy a 20v car, less hassle, less cost, all the fun.
