Different injectors on 4AGE?

Hi, this may be a completely stupid question but I'm just wondering, can you use injectors from say a 3SGE or 3SGTE engine on a 4AGE?

I have found some info on the injectors & just wondered if I were to use injectors from a 3SGE say which are 315cc would they work? I am planning on running the 4AGE with an ITB conversion & Megasquirt ecu & would like to increase the fuelling to maximise the bhp, I've read a few things that say the standard 4AGE 210cc injectors struggle with over 130bhp as they are at near/full load. Just thinking if I were to run 315cc injectors from the 3SGE would I be able to get more bhp & would the ecu be able to handle them & them being bigger wouldn't cause it to overfuel?

I guess I would have to use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator as well? Any help would be great as I don't really know a great deal at the mo! DOH :)

The 440's (Black) off the 7MGTE are the standard upgrade a lot of people use: I was planning to fit them to my 4AGZE AE101 to replace the 335's, but have now sold the car.......

I may have a set of 4 in a box somewhere that I could possibly move on.....?

You basically NEED a standalone for this though as the idle is affected, and the PBV (adjustable FP regulator) needs to be set up fairly accurately for optimal results.....
Injectors should ideally run at around 90% duty, no more: once you get to asking them to open for longer than this, you're pushing it a bit....!

Should be good with a MS, though..........!?:thumbsup:

Would the 440cc injectors from the 7MGTE/3SGTE work with the standard 4AGE fuel rail or would I need to get the fuel rail to suit the injectors?

those injectors will retrofit on your 4ag fuel rail.

sard make an adapter that will allow you to mount an adjustable reg to your factory fuel rail as well
