i need pics of the m2 i beleave it iis called and the n1 plug, i would just like to see what the m2 plug is wired into and where the n1 plug goes(i beleave it goes to the 3rd clip on the ecu right... and have no idea about the m2 plug dose anyone have wiring directions for that... i will probably be asking a hundred wireing questions because im a wiring retard

Right your M2 is the large grey connector at the base of the left rear strut tower inside the engine bay,just on the left in this pic...

On a UK car this has just one plug going into it,and four wires in this plug...

A thick white....charging circuit
A thick black...power for fusebox and car
A thick black/white...starter motor energiser wire
A thin blue/black....engine bay fan

On a US car theres another plug going into the M2,probably for the aircon shite!

its pulled apart in that pic,cut the right side of the plug with about 6 inches of wire (yellow line) this is were you will make most of your connections from mk2 loom into mk1.

just to add,the M2 is where you will join the thick whites from your mk2 harness onto to provide power for the car,also your COR needs to wire up to the starter feed here,it will all become clear.

pic1: 3 grey plugs are ECU; white is fan control ecu; black might be fuel pump resistor; yellow is fuel pump relay I think

pic2: they're the ones that go into the sw20 fuse box aren't they? Most of that gets wired to the N1 connector, and a couple to the M2 I think

pic3: I can't remember, but I think that one is unused..

pic4: fan on left; not sure on the center one; oxygen sensor on the right

tyler i think you are in wiring meltdown! this is what happens,swappers look at all the plugs and think christ where do all those go!

Its a one wire at a time job,most of those wont even get used,fuel pump relay plug for example,not used.

If you can wait 2 weeks or so i will have done the mother of all wiring write ups,wire by wire,pics of the plug its on and where it goes to,idiot proof really! not that any of you are idiots,i'll shut up now.
