Just a quick one about the alternator

Does anybody know if the 3SGE alternator is the same as the 3VZ-FE one?

I've had a look myself and all i can notice is the pulley being smaller and a wire connecter being on the side not the top.

I also checked part numbers on ToyoDIY and they're the same.

Shite... thats interesting that they've got the same part number. I know 100% that the ampere rating is different. Might be a cure to my cars dimming headlights when at idle. Perhaps even the smaller pulley on the V6 alternator to get the bastered spinning faster and hence producing more power?

I've got one of each in the garage. I'll chuck them side by side whenever I've got a sec and have a gawk.
