ISCV Plumbing: (also note the pipe under the throttle body goes directly to the pipe where the water temp sensors and vac controllers are)
Apologies for the kiddie drawing
1: Top large pipe to intake pipe
2: Blanked off
3: To air pipe between two banks ( on lower inlet manifold)
4: To water pipe from bottom of block
5: To pipe under throttle pot

Couple of small issues with the piping of vac and water pipes, couldn’t find much on here about this so used barronmr’s as a guide

Pretty self explanatory, CCAN1 is charcoal canister that came with the 3vz and CCAN 2 is the original mr2 one

Engine Prep: - Replaced all major gaskets, drained and flushed all fluids, tarted it up and blanked egr pipe with a steam fitting from Dixon hall

More pics to add as it progresses. Got it running now but with a rough idle and got a fair bit of body work to complete. And I’m half way through changing dash for v6 clocks and long list of bits and bats to finish off in regards to the engine and electrical.

:boogie:Finally got it running again:amen:, turns out it was a faulty voltage regulator on the ecu that was causing all the trouble. thanks to paul woods for talking me through it and advice

Now its running i can finally take it to paint , got most of prep work done this week, just got some gapping and go over with 400. was originally going to just do the back end but by the looks of how much the paints faded over the years we opted for the full car doing

thanks to gtech for the gauge panel, wasnt sure on the colour it should be but after seeing it in white i think its gonna have to be satin or matt black as its too bright.

Got the teins fitted, painted all the calipers and added some ebc yellow stuff pads and some stainless braided lines

Finally got round to taking it for a dyno session at my local place.

initially it ran 152Hp/170Lb-ft at the wheels

after a bit of tweaking with the AFM it managed to generate 177Hp at the wheels. as it was the only modifications to the engine were a better designed Y-Pipe, a hks filter and an oil cooler kit.

Interesting about the different dyno readings of some of the V6 engines - don't know what flywheel you've got on Jos, or any other tweaks you may have done. Mine was showing 215 bhp at the wheels with the Fidanza and Pauls magical headwork! Your plate holder's been posted, by the way. Paint job looks the biz!

thanks for the comments, its just running standard heads and a mr2 n/a flywheel. Its an early engine with a late ecu with the exhaust modified and air filter. thanks, hopefully should be able to get it back on the road:pray:, just in need of a proper numberplate for the front, even though the mot'er is friendly he wont let it through with what its got on:snooty:

firstly nice mk2 you have its a credit to you secondly get some late valve springs as in 4v6 thread which are not as hard and some head work and i would stick the fidanza flywheel and a good clutch on and that should free up at least 30 ponies.
