Knocks since Tanabe coilovers mounting

Hello,

I've got knocks since I mounted front Tanabe coilovers.
I replaced the strut bar ends for adjustable ones and put a 210mm dimension instead of the OEM 250mm.
Should I decrease this dimension or could it come from something else ?

I'd remove the strut bar and have a short drive, that would prove or eliminate it as the source of the knocking.

40mm less does seem a lot. How did it look when on?
