Trc problem on 96 1mz-fe

Hi Guys , just wondering if any body knows how to remove fault code (47),not being used in aw11 1mz-fe...any way i can trick ecu...on a another note the sp1 error can be fixed by give it a IGT1 out put from the ecu...fault 42 removed motor runs heaps better...square wave...not 5vdc..thanks AL

Interesting mod with the IGT1 to Sp1....i will have to give that a try...sorry i can't help with your code 47.

Thanks paul,have been looking at your good work ,have built so far 4 mr2 v6 machine's here in Kiwi land...With the 5dc ...what i think the ecu see's is that the car is parked....you can use Igt 1-6 & have just finished hooking up a after market tacho in the aw11 clocks using the shift light out put to power acis so i can tune on the road when it comes in...helps with the sound wave like on two stroke motors....Thanks AL

That's not 1MZ specific is it? We get code 42 on them all.

Hi, this fix takes it away for sure....just need to find a wiring diagram for the trc for a 96 1mz-fe.....on the mk1 you can also rewire the speed sensor contacts with 5 dc to 14.2 to pulse the ecu ..20 ppr of wheel is what is needs to see...another wise it will retard....Thanks AL
