Mk1/Mk2 reverse switch

Just a quick observation, it looks to me like they are the same depth and switch operation. Anyone else done a straight swap one for t'other?

Interesting idea chris,that would solve a few problems for me at work if its a doer.... i will check it out for you on monday and report back.

I've fitted mine to the gearbox and it seems to fit fine, when compared side by side they are pretty much identical length but one does have a longer threaded section.

I've not tested to see if the switch closes yet. :hidesbehi

OK can confirm that it works. Switch is open out of gear, closed in reverse. :boogie:

This is on a tubby box btw, no idea if the n/a box is any different. :hmm:
