hihi :blabla:

Back ontopic, any sets like this for the mk2? 400 pounds is dead cheap for a big brake kit, mk2 kits from ksport or d2 are a fair bit more then that...

The only ones I know of for the Mk2 are the HiSpec ones. Fronts only.

If you hold off, you can see what my "bodged" setup is like on my car. I'm having:-

Supra 325mm UK spec front discs
Supra 325mm UK spec rear discs
Porsche 996 Turbo front calipers
Standard, re-mounted, stock calipers.

That whole lot stands me at around £650 at the moment, excluding pads and fitting (by Paul).

Found something on the hispec kit but they are still pretty expensive, about the same price as D2 or Ksport kits.. Found one cheaper kit from Wilwood, heard some good things about these and one seller on ebay is selling them for $739 ... thats seems incredibly cheap to me, or am i missing something here?

I am very curious about youre porsche calipers though, found some on ebay for about $500, and supra disk wont be a problem but how are you going to mount them? Is paul designing some new mounts for them or are they easy to install on the standard hub? And what about the rear calipers, youre using standard ones but with 325mm disks? How are you going to get the pads to cover all that area?
Really liking the id though, new porsche calipers are $400 each, so in the end it will probably be about the same price as a D2 or Ksport kit but the build quality will be better i think.

has anyone tries r32 skyline calipers. i have seen them fitted to a few other cars and all thats usualy required is a small addaptor. looks kind of like the extra peice in the willwood kit. a pair of calipers on ebay can go for as little as AU$200. i has an r32 and they are kick ass brakes. huge pad selection also same as some WRX's
