Quick question chaps.

If I had a 1.5 which had a rev3 engine in it previously but this went kapoot/Fubar, What would be required to fit a rev1 3SGTE?

What are the differences? Would the loom need modifying? etc

Cheers in advance

Yup, loom, sensors, ecu, you'd need an air flow meter etc. Mounts line up the same so physically it'd fit.

OK, well I have a complete Rev1 mk2 at the moment so shouldn't be too bad.

Cheers

Couldnt you get rid of the air flow meter if you already had all the rev 3 bits and use the rev 3 ecu, map sensor etc?

Doh, yes you could of course. Yup, convert the rev one to rev 3 spec, much better plan  Depending on how the engine went bang the rev3 turbo might be history.

OK, That plan is now out of the window.

It looks like I have BSMs mk1a coming down with Ben tomorrow so I'll be fitting the engine into that (Hopefully he can get it back)

Cheers for the help though, I'll be back soon looking for more insperation shortly :)
