Still a lot to do,the engine has only just gone in,but i will update from now on

The rear wall mod on this one is probably the best one yet,we have got the best way to do this so it looks factory down to a fine art now i think!

hot Dam!! Had to run outside to see what the differences were between OEM and your install - so seamlessly put together. A MK1 you say? Be careful who you let into to your shop Paul -I think those pics in the Toyota brochures are actually secret pics of the Woodsport models - will be watching for more.

I think this is the conversion I have seen at the very early stages when I popped down to the workshop to see how its done. Great work ! The only reaso I vent for the all alloy V6 is I wanted to keep the weight down. I think each conversion gets better and better, its a pity Toyota dosent make cars lake this in the first place !

If they did, this place wouldn't exist and we'd be out of a job lol

Nah, you'd all be swapping in the bigger 3-liter motors, since they would have been putting the awful 2VZFE (2.5L) into it back in the 80s (3VZFE didn't show up until '92) ;)

Will the start up be on youtube tonight or tomorrow so I can annoy my boss at work with it, best regards Nik

Everything is together and in place, wee bit more faqtoeree installationing, quite proud of the way we've managed to put this all in.

Just need to sort the battery and gearbox earth and it's fire up time.

Paul took some pictures of the finished install so they'll be up tonight.

Almost there now, engine is wired, filter assembly fitted, relocated battery under filter done with new 055 type battery ( a much better way to do it than relocating a battery up front ).

http://www.twobrutal.co.uk/forum/images/recovered/2008/12/4.jpg

We have even located the mk1 expansion bottle and made a mk2 v6 style hard line running around the boot wall, all very stock looking....

So all being well it fires up tomorrow, exhaust is still to do after that.

Oh sir, we have viedos. We have very good videos. Woodsy will upload them later on for you.

What kinda exhaust is that btw? It sounds fookin lush.

nikwills
05-12-2008, 18:21
Hiya mate,

I look forward to the videos, and hearing it!!!

I will see if I can dig out the invoice when I get back from my holiday, the exhaust was custom made locally at a place called Euroflow, but they had several names in quick succession before falling victim to a mysterious fire.....
It was originally made for my first silver 1985 MK1, just happy that its ok for the job with the V6 - top notch recycling,

best regards Nik

OlberJ
05-12-2008, 18:39
Mate, it's fantastic.

Putting it on we were thinking it would be too loud or too restrictive and, dare i say it, tinny. lol We were almost running a book.

It's great though, nice rasp and just the right volume. Good show

Paul Woods

hi nik,i cant promise on that one,i will try my best though,it just depends how much time we have left before we break up for the hols.

If i can't achieve them beforehand then i can send them down at a later date, lets see how it goes.
