We are pleased to announce that we can now offer complete LPG conversions for all models of mr2,or any other car for that matter.

The system is fully sequential gas injection and also fully mappable to give the best in performance AND economy.

Currently LPG is around 50-60p per litre, which is half the cost of petrol, and with petrol prices set to soar it is forcing many of our vehicles off the road or being rarely driven, lets just say the situation is only going to get worse.

The LPG system can be installed to all three marques in both manual and auto and also turbo charged models can also be fitted and mapped with this system.

Of course the downside of LPG is tank placement, and it will mean losing either the frunk or boot to a small gas tank, but you will HALF your running costs overnight! We can also conceal the filler point without cutting into the cars bodywork.

I have personally been running LPG powered vehicles (including an LPG powered mk1 mr2) for years and the benefits speak for themselves. At any time you can instantly switch back to petrol, which effectively doubles the range of your car without having to fill up.

We are now offering Full sequential injection LPG systems for £1495 supplied and fitted and fully mapped ready to run.

Typically you will recoup the cost of install within 6 months of average miles in saved fuel bills.

In summary,Keep your Mr2 on the road but half its running costs! http://www.woodsport.org/forum/images/recovered/2005/04/52.jpg

If anyone has any LPG related questions im more than happy to help, also we can take advanced bookings with the first conversions available about a month from now (26/09/0http://www.woodsport.org/forum/images/recovered/2008/09/2.gif

Nice one Paul. Be very handy for our cars and the extra range Wood be a boon. Guess the Mk3 would have to have the new tank in the cubby:D:

aye! i think either a long skinny tank in the cubby or a small tank up front, its quite a large area up front when you take the plastic crap out.

Yes, surprising amount of room under the front there.

i would think the extra weight in the nose of a mk1 would only help the high speed handling! sounds like a plan:thumbsup:

u can lpg any 2/4/6/8/10/12 cylinder engine just add more jets to the manifold.

just seen one done on a new v8 range rover with a spare wheel tank under the boot floor , i think its called a doughnut tank one of those in the frunk would be interesting for handling on a mk1 or mk2 .

is this system paul able to start on petrol then auto switch to gas when u rev up the engine.

thats a good price paul.

On a mr2 is that frunk mount or boot as was looking later at a papl vented carbon bonnet clearance issues ?.

is the filler able to be remote mounted any where or is it integral to the tank?.

or is that dependent on which tank configuration?.

the tank can be mounted either in the rear or front, the filler can be remote mounted anywhere on the car too.

i can fit up to a 70-80 ltr tank depending on wether its a mk1 or mk2

50-60ltr tank in the front typically.

The cost of filling it up all depends on the size of tank and local cost of lpg lol we pay 50p a ltr in durham and my 325 has a 60 ltr tank (fills to 80% for safety) so about £24 fills it.
