Spotted this while trolling around the net and thought that 226 HP at the wheels was pretty impressive for a 3vz NA.
Not too much work to get it to that N/A and shows it can be done. Some tweaking will see that improve quite well i reckon.
As with anything though, it'd be easier to SC or Turbo it and get more HP. Fair play to the guy for doing it though
Nice car too.
For a Mk2.
Frig! Just noticed that's 'merican so it is probably at the wheels.
17% Tranny loss gives about 260bhp. Nice.

Stonking figures for that one. That's something for the rest of us NA 3vzs to aim at.
I reckon Matt might have a shot at it, with his exhaust bits and Tony prepped heads.
I do too, especially when he gets it mapped.
Already @ 200+bhp with the exhausts and manfold. Everyone says the heads make a difference so I think with them and a more aggressive map means he could be looking around 230-240bhp.

He would have to careful running any significant boost since he bumped up the compression ratio, but a little bit would probably do wonders.
It's not that high really, not prefect for boost but not killer.
Right way to do it NA though.
It was 11.0:1 wasn't it?
I'd not fancy boosting more than 4-5psi through that.
