Hello, I'm from Poland and I start restore my aw11 and do some modifications.
I would like to ask what do You think about springs Jamex which I want to setup to my car with new KYB gas absorbers and urethane bushings.
My MR2 is on 9jX16" et15 wheels with 215/40/16 front and 225/40/16 rear tire.
Those wheels are good with stock suspensnion, but what can I expected when I change the springs (Jamex -30mm)
Regards
Stinky
ps - sorry for my grammar but I better drive the car than use English language
If it's Jamex am thinking of, avoid at all costs, am pretty sure someone's got a picture of the front spings on the Jamex and they are coiled in tight and sitting on each other, basically a solid lump of metal.

I saw that picture, but also I saw others aw11 on lowered suspension and springs in front are more tighten with more coils and everything is ok ... hmmm
Maybe Jamex is so soft ....
I buy Jamex and in front I have 7 coils and rear 5 in stock springs it's 5 for front and 7 for rear (???)
Aye, i think someone messed up when the drew up the plans for the Jamex springs.
Dare i say it, Fensport may be your best bet they do custom rate springs for the Mk1 and work well.

ps1 - I know Jamex from early 90's when I read (a lot) German tuning magazines, then many peoples use this springs thats why I think about buy this

eibach have always had a good name for doing springs, maybe a little soft if used for racing but always been good for road cars, whether they still do them for the mk1 is another guess

Eibach make some of the best springs in the world. their universal fitment racing springs are superb and run on cars right up to the top level of motorsport (e.g. LeMans). their specific application road car stuff has to be aimed at a wider audience, so they cant make it too stiff else road users wont want it, and anyone serious about doing track driving will have coilovers anyway (and thus use universal fitment).
