I didn't have any wiring experience when I did my swap. You should be able to follow the guide and if you get stuck, just post the question and some helpful chap will be along to offer guidance.

Ok well i followed the guide exactly like you did it Paul... i think thats where i went wrong! I guess i need a diagram for a 3sgte sw20???? Its just this crap really gets to me, So any help is greatly appricated!

well yes it does say in the guide its for a 3s-fe but it also describes how to test for the relevant wires on 3s-ge and gte models.

make a table of which wires on the sw20 you have connected to the v6 harness,their location ie fusebox or trunk(we call it a boot) connectors and we can sort it from there,even if its one wire at a time its pretty easy.
