Are we the only people to have done this? Anything i see on American sites or the like is into mk2's or 1.5 tubby swaps.

Mk1V6's, is there only 5 running in the world that we know of?

Yeah - can only find Devon's 1MZ mk1 in Ohio as a trans-atlantic source.

Surely there must be more than that?

There are hardly any mk1.5s let alone any 6s

There is one in Melbourne with a 1mzfe. I don't know many details though.

There's a guy who was working on a honda V6/mk1 MR2 conversion near me a while back, was going to use it for rallycross. Think he was national champion in what ever class he was in running a 2L turbo stripped out old Maestro.

He's the same guy who was selling that Honda V6 mk2 on ebay a while ago. I tried persuading him to join the site but he didn't sound interested.

I do have a couple of picks of his work as I went round there to buy a blown 3sge for the gearbox. His work was VERY tidy. The V6 looked tiny in the bay, and i bet it went like stink as well.
